Drumalis Rose Garden

rosegarden.jpg

The  logo is based on the many art nouveau windows by George Walton within Drumalis House itself.  The link between inside and outside is the ROSE from the ceiling light in the Oratory.  The curved arcs symbolise the hill of Drumalis – the “Drum” upon which stood a 12th century friary and which is now occupied by the Retreat Centre.  These arcs connect visually with the newly restored rose arches.  The vertical lines speak of calmness and the small golden circle represents the sun.  Both the lines and the circle remind us of the essential purpose of the Rose Garden to be a place of rest and relaxation, of warmth and growth.
